What Is Resin Art?

Resin art is the practice of using epoxy resin in artwork. With it, you can create art that is clear and luminous, as well as artwork that has depth. It is done by taking clear epoxy resin and adding in colored pigments or other types of colorants. With so many potential crafts you can enjoy with resin, the hardest part is often trying to decide what you want to do. You may choose to start out with a flat wood surface to figure out how epoxy works. You may dive right into creating tumblers. Each of these projects will require some supplies.

The most basic is some epoxy, a way to measure it so that you get equal parts of hardener and resin, a stirring stick, and an idea. The rest, you can work up to once you get going with it.
